HIGH-PERFORMANCE STUDENT SUPPORT SYSTEM
Interpersonal relationships are key to high performance. Students are more successful when they have a solid support system behind them.
While it is commonly known that relationships are key to adapting to new environments such as college, it's important to note that they're also the foundation for developing new habits such as high-performance skills. People are more likely to make significant change when they form new, emotional relationships within a group that inspires and sustains hope.
These new relationships help people learn new ways of thinking about their situation and their lives. Within this new group, people learn, practice, and master the new habits they'll require to be successful.
The icebreaker exercises in Making Your Mark are designed to foster strong relationships between faculty and students.
